Opinion: Too much Dash and boring Nitro atm.
Dash skill and Nitro must be balanced between themselves, Nitro does not feel powerful enough, so it’s not much fun using it, nor it makes a big difference, because Dash already puts you in near max speed and its cooldown time is too quick, so Dash in my opinion is too strong and Nitro is too weak.
Dash is almost taking all the reason away for Nitro to even exist.
I’d recommend making Nitro more powerful for full-speed and acceleration, and make Dash skill not available so often, but instead, dealing a bigger damage when Dash is used to ram against enemies’ car. This would make the game’s mechanics feel more important without taking the fun away.
By the way, the Nitro visual effect its not that exciting, when it should feel like almost a catharsis, something that translates the emotion of anger and ecstasy in pure acceleration, speed and octane goodness.

landshipDash being used for acceleration and nitro being used to maintain speed feels very good IMO, reversing the roles or lessening either's effect would hurt the pace of the game. The current sense of speed is one of the biggest draws to the game, at least in my book.

taiiatgotta be honest, i enjoy how often we're able to redirect our inertia with Dash.
that being said, Nitro could be more impactful i suppose - i balance the use of it to have it available as much as possible out of habit anyways, but sure it's not making a major impact to the overall movement, more of a modest impact.
off the top of my Head, one thing i could spitball would be if it consumed the 'bar' like uh, 2.5x faster but provided about 3x as much Acceleration boost, or something. still enough to be able to feather it, and gaining the perceived impact at a trade rather than just a direct uprgade, incase of any worry about just increasing stats overall. -
