[Bug] Awful sharpening/chromatic aberration effect
There's an awful screen sharpening and/or chromatic aberration effect present that's not possible to turn off. It becomes much much worse at ultrawide and gives the impression of looking through a smeared up window.

taiiatnow that you mention it, yeah. the slight offness to the game is probably heavily contributed to it appearing oversharpened without a way to turn that off or reduce the strength of it currently.

Zach FettThere's definitely a Chromatic Aberration effect going on, I pray the full release will have an option for that and motion blur.

taiiatthe game still has something of an oddly 'soft' look to it even now - not sure if that's directly related to this, but whether it is or not it's still present - seemingly unrelated to any of the Graphics options, the game always has a slightly blurry look to it.
doesn't seem to be scaling the viewport incorrectly since the HUD/UI looks fine. it's just the 3D areas that always give a bit of an impression like the Render Scale is at like 0.85x or something, even though the setting for that is maxed out and presumably at 1.0x. -

Zach FettStill no option to disable chromatic aberration or the sharpening in the latest beta, sadly, though you can at least force chromatic aberration off through config editing. I'd really like both to be an official setting though..
Also why is this suggestion marked as "obsolete"? It's not. -

Snaex Admin@Zach Fett, Thank you for your comment. We have marked any bugs that occurred in the Alpha as obsolete to keep track of bugs that occur in the current Beta, as these are different versions of the game and stages of development. I will open this one again as it's still a topic!
